A Thing called Love / D-crew 2 US

Hi all! Well, initially I was going to sing this song myself but I had a certain American girl, with amazing blonde hair, sing it instead because her voice was a perfect match for the song. I could not avoid her voice nor her beauty. (I mean, she was really, really, HOT!) Anyway... the track sounded more mature and reserved, with less taste of techno, at the beginning of the composition but I transformed it into a much stronger dance track. If I have a chance someday I wanna sing the song, in it`s original arrangement, myself. Well, hope you enjoy it. Peace!

dream of love / Kaori Nishina

For this song, I took a specific approach to create it`s fusion sound. I combined a "dance" beat with a "Koto", which is a Japanese traditional instrument, and used them as the key sounds. In addition, I contrived it`s melody to have a feeling of oriental melancholy. I also use repetitive, catchy, phrases so the song definitely lends itself to dancing! The R&B sound has become much more popular among the Japanese music scene and has often been used in games. In the DDR series, we usually polish and arrange the sounds in a way that satisfies the desires of the user and makes the song more familiar for the product.

As an example, for this song I strengthened each of the five snares and adjusted their attack time in order to make the sound thicker and heavier. Plus, I used an Access Virus, a plug-in for ProTools, to emphasize the bass part of the attack and to add more volume to the song as a whole. If I have a chance to make a full version of this track, I would accentuate the Koto part by arranging it with other Japanese instruments. This would be my dream and I'm hoping to release it someday in the future.

Electrified / SySF.

What`s up?! This is Sota Fujimori. How do you like "Electrified"? In order to make the sound itself more electric and outstanding, I added more vocals and many, many layers of sounds. If you are tired of hyper-fast tracks, choose this track for sure!

Every Day, Every Night(NM STYLE) / LEA DROP feat. Ant Johnston

Hi, this is LEA DROP! I had NAOKI remix my original song "Every Day, Every Night" for this game. The collaboration was a great experience, and I really appreciate NAOKI`s contribution. He really uplifted the original sound by arranging it to perfectly match Ant Johnston`s incredible singing range. It's definitely my favorite song, so please enjoy it. I'm looking forward to hearing from you all!

Freeway Shuffle / dj TAKA

This is an upbeat, melodious, trance-pop track. In the 10 years that I have been at Konami, this is the first track that I have made completely for DDR. With NAOKI's advice, it was a very natural process to compose this track. Thanks NAOKI!
My initial approach to this song was based on my image of American suburban driving, with lots of heavy traffic. It is like dancing among a huge crowd at a club. But even though the song is called "Freeway Shuffle", it did not end up with the shuffling feeling that I had intended. So I felt, "oh well... it is still a great song!"

Music In The Rhythm / nc ft. Electric Touch

I developed this track into a high-speed tune by blending it with a rock guitar and using it`s Goa/Psychedelic beat as key elements. I think it ended up being much more energetic when compared to other similar songs.
