In Metal Gear Solid 2 SUBSTANCE, when you complete Sons of Liberty or the BOSS SURVIVAL mode a pass code called the CLEAR CODE appears on the screen. If you register your CLEAR CODE from the MISSION RECORDS INDEX page, your completion information will be recorded / stocked in the database and can be looked at in the RESULT VIEWER and RECORD SORTER. |

Go to the MISSION RECORDS INDEX page and select RETURN CLEAR CODE to proceed to the code input screen. After inputting your CLEAR CODE and personal data, click the CONFIRM button. (Leave the ID and PASSWORD blank the first time you register.) Your data and an analysis of your data (total play time, shots fired, etc.) will be displayed. If you wish to register that information, click the OK button. Registration will be completed. You can only use bold and small case letters of the alphabet, the @ mark, the dot ( . ), hyphen ( - ),underbar ( _ ), and space ( ). Note: When you register for the first time, an ID and PASSWORD will be issued. You need these to update your records. Please keep them with you. |

In the beginning, you can register for certain stages only. We will increase the number of stages for which you can register. |

The ID and PASSWORD issued upon your first registration are necessary for updating your records. Using the ID and PASSWORD allows you to skip through the personal data input.
