Konami games received top honors at "E3 2006(*)", with awards posted by major US game information web sites. Several Konami games were selected as best from among many of the entries exhibited at E3 2006. Above all, the "Metal Gear Solid" series was acclaimed on each web site and received top honors including the trailer of "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots" exhibited at E3 2006. And many other Konami games also were nominated for awards in various categories such as best next-generation console games, sports games, music games and action games.
