The JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU series is a baseball-themed video game that contains such features as easy-to-understand operation, graphics and sound effects that produce a very real-like sensation and friendly characters, and its total sales have surpassed 16 million units. In the Major League Baseball version of JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU, all 30 MLB clubs and their ballparks along with more than a thousand of Major League All-Stars will appear in the game.

The title features the new mode called "Major Life" in which a player can become one of the Major League Baseball players and simulate their baseball life from the days they join the team to their retirement. The mode allows players to enjoy various events with distinctive characteristics of MLB, including the MLB Game and the World Series.

In addition to that, the "bullpen system," which is employed in the title for the first time in the JIKKYOU PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU series, is also a distinguishing feature. The system enables players to strategically substitute for pitchers, which is an important point in an actual baseball game, so that players can enjoy playing with others in the match-up mode. They can also enjoy a realistic experience of an actual baseball game by preparing backup pitchers for a game as their warm-ups could affect their pitching condition after substitution.
