KONAMI's Winning Eleven PLAY MAKER 2009 for Wii is slated to hit store shelves throughout Japan this May 14.
This latest installment in the Winning Eleven series* features the use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuck that allows players to intuitively maneuver the players on the pitch with a simple "point and click" operation.
Players can pick a player they want to pass to and then send him running to specific area on the field, making the gameplay more dynamic and realistic than ever.
Winning Eleven PLAY MAKER 2009 for Wii also features new yet traditional control options using the Classic Controller or the Wii Remote. Players can choose their preferred controller style from the three options during co-op multiplayer games.
* The Winning Eleven series is the world's leading soccer franchise with a cumulative total of over 53.5 million copies sold worldwide (as of December 31, 2008).
