KONAMI has announced that it will release its Mobile Pawafuru Puroyakyu - Ikkyu Sokuho for EZweb on May 14th. The new mobile phone application uses the Jikkyou Pawafuru Puroyakyu interface to recreate professional baseball games on your mobile phone screen in real time. Mobile Pawafuru Puroyakyu - Ikkyu Sokuho is a live professional baseball news application for mobile phones that enables you to experience all the season's official games*1 in real time animation. When users access the application during an actual game, the Pawapuro characters take to the screen where they fill in for the real players and simultaneously mimic the live on-field action. The app's realistic sound effects, right down to the cheering fans, make users feel as if they are watching an actual live broadcast of the game. The application also allows users who started watching a game partway through to play back the part they missed. The next day, the application provides a digest of the game with scores and highlights. Users can also bookmark their favorite plays to enjoy them over and over again.
Mobile Pawafuru Puroyakyu - Ikkyu Sokuho puts a wealth of other news and data in the palm of your hand, including breaking reports from other games, player information, and the latest pro-baseball data such as player, pitching, and batting statistics. The application, which is also currently available via i-mode and Yahoo! Keitai, is priced at 315 yen per month (tax included) for all carriers.
